Ada Sue Hall McLawhon passed away peacefully at her Wewahitchka home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born on September 7, 1952 in Mississippi. Born into a military family, Ada traveled considerably, learning new cultures and making new friends worldwide.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband of 40+ years, Michael S. McLawhon, parents. Elmer T. (Rip) Hall and Annie Clyde Nichols Hall of Wewahitchka, her brother Lyle Todd Hall of Heber Springs, AR.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Lori Hall Price (Eddie), sons Andrew A. Rutter, Jack W. Spencer (Elizabeth), and Michael T. McLawhon; her grandchildren Aurora, Andrew T., Alanna, Dawn, Slaten, Garrett, Annie, and Madison; and her great grandchildren Benjamin, Sebastian, and Dominic, as well as many more family and friends near and far.
She loved being surrounded by family and friends, and with that in mind, a Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Alice Park in Wewahitchka on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at 5 P.M. CST
