Anthony Joseph "A.J." Massa

Anthony Joseph Massa age 85, formerly of Fort Walton Beach and most recently Lynn Haven, Florida passed away in Port St. Joe, Florida on Saturday, August 24, 2024. He was known to everyone as A.J., born in Philadelphia PA on June 5, 1939. His family moved to Miami Florida when he was a small child.A.J. was a rebel in his younger years riding motorcycles and enjoying old-time rock-n-roll such as Elvis Presley. He graduated from the school of hard knocks then settled down to have a family. He spent most of his life in Homestead and then Fort Pierce, Florida before moving to the panhandle. Anthony was an entrepreneur, owning his own custom marine fuel tank and trailer company and a custom tile company. He took pride in his work and did not retire until his health was failing. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and socializing with friends. A. J’s passion was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Yolanda Massa and one brother Bob Massa.

A.J is survived by one daughter, Jill Pecori of Lynn Haven, Florida: two sons, Joseph Massa of Tennessee, Paul Massa of Vero Beach, Florida: one step daughter, Elizabeth Worley of Fort Walton Beach, Florida: two brothers Larry Massa and Rick Massa, both of Miami, Florida: grandchildren, Candice Schane, Casie Pippin, Dominic Massa, Danica Massa, Jason, James, Justin, Jasmine, Joshua, Jayla, Jadaiah, Ja’mya Worley and five great grandchildren, Chace, Corey, Madilyn, Alexander, and

Skyler Jr.

Memorialization will be by cremation
