On August 22, 2022, Billy Joe Richards died at his home near Wetappo Creek. He is mourned by his son Howard, his stepdaughters Katie Kilbourn and Sarah Montgomery, and his stepson Sam Paul, as well as many nephews, nieces, friends, co-workers, and golf partners. He was preceded into eternity by his wife Brenda and his son Jeff. Billy Joe was always busy with home improvement projects and was always ready with an opinion on any subject from college football to Spanish treasure ships. He will be sorely missed.
Services will be held Saturday, September 10th at 10am eastern time, at the Holly Hill Cemetery Pavilion.
