Bobby Earl Kirkland, better known as “Bob” of Dalkeith, Florida passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born in Port St Joe, Florida on Friday, July 22, 1955 to the late Rudolph Kirkland and Mamie Newsome Kirkland. After graduating from high school Bob moved to Idaho where he began a ranching life that would take him to Oregon, Washington State and Montana before returning home after 30 years. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a ranch hand. He also was a very talented metal and wood worker. Bob was of the Assembly of God faith.
He was preceded in death by, his parents and one nephew, James Kirkland.
Bob is survived by his companion of 12 years Angel of Dalkeith, Florida; one son, Joshua Robert Kirkland of Sprague, Washington; stepchildren, Kayla Bailey and Daniel Blankinchip of Wewahitchka, Florida; two brothers, Danny Kirkland (Patty) of Wewahitchka, Florida and Mike Kirkland (Dawn) of Vernon, Florida; one sister, Wanda Nixon (Bruce) of White City, Florida; one nephew, Daniel Kirkland (Hope) of Rome, Georgia; four neices, Heather Harris (Lee) of Macon, Georgia; Melissa Brogdon of Wewahitchka, Florida, Anna Kirkland of Washington County, Florida, Marion Wilson of Chipley, Florida; three step grandchildren, Hailey, Farrah and Chaston. Bob is also survived by a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Old Paths Spirit of Holiness Church, (119 Bay Ave Wewahitchka, Florida 32465) with Rev. Eddie Causey officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Rest Cemetery in Overstreet.
A time of visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time until time of service.
