Bruce Edward Parker was born on July 12, 1960, and passed away March 24, 2024, in Port St. Joe, Florida. Eddie, as he was known to his family and friends, was a native of Port St. Joe, then lived in Okinawa, Japan, and Mississippi for many years before returning home. He was a licensed seaman who sailed around the world in his younger years and was the caretaker at the Old Dynamite Road Shipyard in White City for over a decade. Eddie enjoyed fishing, cooking, and eating fresh seafood with his
family and friends, especially Daryl Parker, Bob Givens, and Billy Sherum.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Sandra Kamont and Bruce Parker, his siblings Cheryl Parker and Chris Parker, as well as his daughter Casandra Parker. He was a good brother to Trampus, Tommy, Jobeau, and Susan Parker Thomas (Danny) of Harriman, Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eddie had a good heart, and his presence will be missed by those who loved him.
