Carol Jean Burrows age 78 of Highland View, Florida passed away into God’s Grace after a brief illness on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Carol was born on May 22, 1944 in Port St Joe, Florida to the late Walter Carlos and Helen Margaret House Miles and spent her life in Gulf County where she worked for the nursing home. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Raymond Burrows.
Carol is survived by her four children, Brenda Redmon (Robert), Donna Lucas (Scott), Raymond Burrows (Terri) and Connie Williams; one sister, Helen King (Melvin); seven grandchildren, Travis Burrows, Chad Lucas (Allison), Jared Lucas (Rebekah), Tarah Ruble (Drew), Mason Simmons (Sarah), Justin Burrows (Christy), and Tiffanie (Jason); ten great grandchildren, Braylee, Landon, Little Connie, Daniel, Adriana, Andi Kate, Kaylie, Ezzy, Juliana, and Adilynn; Liam and Logan which were like great grandchildren to her. She is also survived by a special nephew, Ricky Thursby (Diane) that held a special place in her heart and her miniature dachshund of nine years “Precious”.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Highland View Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Fernandez officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida.
A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church.
