Carol Lynn Mosley

Carol Lynn Mosley age 77 of Apalachicola, Florida passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at her home. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on February 14, 1945 to the late Earl H. Eberhardt and Myrtle Wendlandt. Carol served as a nurse in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and later served in the United States Army Reserves. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William L. Schultz, and the father of her children, William J. Mosley Jr. Carol is survived by one son, William J. Mosley and one daughter, Leora Lynn (Mosley) Raasch; three granddaughters, Emily Lenora, Betsy Katherine, and Taylor Lynn; one sister, Mary Jane (Eberhardt) Nesbit and husband Gerald. Memorialization will be by cremation. The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop At late or early hour. To lose one’s wealth is sad indeed, To lose one’s health is more, To lose one’s souls is such a loss That no man can restore. The present only is our own, So live, love, toil with a will, Place no faith in “tomorrow,” For the Clock may then be still. -Robert H. Smith
