Cecelia Rose Ohler

Cecelia Rose Ohler of Alford, Florida passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born the youngest of eight children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 25, 1942, to the late Alexander McConnell and Catherine Reese McConnell. In 1984, Cecelia along with her family moved from Hollywood, Florida to Jackson County. She was a dedicated member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Marianna and in years past enjoyed volunteering her time. Cecelia worked many years as a department manager for KMART before retiring. She was an avid painter and loved being outdoors, working in the yard. Cecelia’s heart was her family and she was very active in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Every birthday and holiday was a special time because it was held at Grandma’s house.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents and her seven siblings.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gregory Ohler Sr.; her daughter’s, Linda DiBartolo (John) and Coreen Cummings; son, Greg Ohler (Billie); grandchildren, CJ Whittington (Ashley), Sam Whittington, Randy DiBartolo, Sandy Coronado (Juan) and Luke Ohler; great-grandchildren, Marcus Whittington, Sadie Lynn Coronado, Doc Whittington and Celie Ann Coronado.
