Charles Duwayne Melvin Sr, better known as “Little Charlie” passed on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the age of 53.He was born on April 5, 1970 in Wewahitchka, Florida and spent most of his life in Gulf County. Charles worked at the paper mill, operated heavy equipment, and was a talented carpenter. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Charles loved his children, grandchildren, and siblings dearly. He will be remembered for a heart of gold and firecracker attitude.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Joyce Melvin and his grandparents.
Charles is survived by his spouse Tammy Melvin; one son, Buck Melvin, stepchildren, Kristian Hope McClendon and Kristal McDaniel; siblings, Cecil Melvin, Regina Melvin, and Katrina Melvin; grandchildren, Ryder Melvin and Shelbie Melvin and step grandchildren, Chance, Zane, and Krislyn. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Cypress Creek Cemetery in Kinard, Florida.
