Coleman "Cole" Walker Pippin

March 4, 1959 — April 28, 2024

Coleman (Cole) Walker Pippin, 65, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.


Cole was born on March 4, 1959, to Galena and James Pippin in Wewahitchka, Florida. He is proceeded in death by his father James Pippin and his two brothers, Tim and Marty Pippin.


He is survived by his wife Carol, his daughter Jordan, his two sons, Brian and Steven Pippin (Jessie Ray), grandchildren, Logan Pippin, Issac and Tobias Pippin, mother Galena Pippin; his special niece Jaria Pippin (Travis), special nephews Seth Pippin (Jennifer), and Brad Pippin (Linda); long time friend, Darlene Dollins and another long time friend and father in law, Greg Boggs (Paulette).


Cole was a 30 year union pipefitter and traveled all over the country for work, with Carol by his side working as his partner and welder. In his free time when Cole wasn’t working he could be found at his Porter’s Lake house boat catching fish. When Cole was not at the river, he enjoyed playing and listening to music. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, which was his one pride and happiness in life.


A Celebration of Life service in Cole’s memory will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 1:00 p.m. (CST), at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Wewahitchka, Florida.


In lieu of a visitation proceeding Cole’s Celebration of Life service, a reception will be held following the service at 117 Sailor’s Cove Drive in Port Saint Joe.


Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
