Danny Lee Spears Age 69, of Howard Creek, Wewahitchka Florida (formerly of Somerset, KY) passed from this life on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Wewahitchka, Florida.
Danny was born on March 21, 1954, in Somerset KY to the late Herman Eugene Spears Sr. and Ollie Mae (Hair) Spears. Also preceded in his death, Nephew Jimmy Lee Spears Isaacs.
Danny was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He retired from years of carpentry, electrical, and HVAC work. He was an extremely hard worker, and his workmanship shows throughout the Howard Creek community. He loved Fishing, NASCAR, Dirt-track racing, and hanging out with all his friends sharing Wisdom and tales around the community “Liars Pit”.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Amanda Spears of Somerset KY, Sisters Valinda (Wayne) Isaacs of Somerset KY, Judy (Eddie) Hardwick Sr. of Bronston, KY, Barbara Shelton of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Brother Herman E. Spears Jr. of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Nieces, Rhonda (Sam) Hai Louisville KY, Amy (Ron) Perkins Somerset, KY, Nephews Eddie Hardwick Jr. of IN, Chuck Shelton and Dale (Angie) Shelton of Jeffersonville, IN, Great Nieces, Karly Shelton, Allie Hail, and Olivia Shelton, Nephews, Gabe Perkins, Evan Shelton and Chase Shelton. Danny also leaves behind very special friends Homer, Gus, John, Sandra, Grady, Kyle to name a few and a community that will miss him beyond measure.
A celebration of life will be held later at Howard Creek, Wewahitchka, Florida, where Danny has called home for the last 15 years.
