George Oliver Lautt Jr., born on June 24, 1967, in Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 57.


He joins his father, George Oliver Lautt Sr., in eternal rest.


George is survived by his beloved daughter, Destiny Lahani Lautt, and his cherished grandchildren, Grayson Cloud Torres and Oliver Ocean Torres. He also leaves behind his mother, Keren, and his siblings, Kerrie, Angela, Amy, and David and step siblings Keven and Kim.


George proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 18 years, dedicating himself to protecting the nation. After his service, he continued his passion for aviation as an aircraft mechanic in civilian life. Later, George found his true calling on the waters of Port Saint Joe and Mexico Beach, Florida, where he became a skilled boat captain and an exceptional fisherman.

An avid motorcyclist, George found freedom and joy on the open road. Whether riding solo or with friends, he cherished the sense of adventure and camaraderie that came with every ride.


Beyond his professional achievements and love for motorcycles, George was a talented local artist, known for his ability to transform wood into works of art. His creations, including beautifully crafted bowls, walking sticks, and furniture, were a testament to his skill and creativity.


But above all, George was a friend to many, offering his kindness, support, and loyalty to those fortunate enough to know him.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother whose love for his family knew no bounds.


George Oliver Lautt Jr. will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through his art, his family, and the countless lives he touched with his warmth and friendship.
