Gwen D. Hardee

Gwen D. Hardee, of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away tragically on November 12, 2024, at the age of 64. She was born on April 21, 1960, in Athens, Alabama.

Gwen was a faithful Christian, embodying the teachings and values of her faith throughout her life. Her devotion to her beliefs was not only a cornerstone of her identity but also a guiding light to those fortunate enough to know her. She carried herself with grace and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on her community and the lives she touched.

Gwen will be dearly missed, but her legacy of faith and love will resiliently endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

Gwen is survived by her loving husband, Cary Hardee; her parents Franklin Johnson and Betty Johnson; two daughters, Kimberly Neely (Nathan) and Melissa Hardee; one son, Beau Hardee (TJ); one brother, Tim Johnson (Doreen); two sisters, Gina Richter (Brent) and Lori Crabtree (Chris), seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Beach Baptist Chapel on Saturday, December 7, 2024, beginning at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time with Pastor David Nichols officiating.

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, a Celebration of Life service will be held at Esther Chapel in Park City, Tennessee beginning at 11:00 A.M. Central Time with Pastor Mike Edmonds officiating.
