Hazel A. Arnold age 86 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. She was born in Gulf County, Florida on September 29, 1935 to the late Ottis B Smith and Bessie G Kemp Smith. Spending most of her life in Gulf County, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, flowers, going to yard sales and square dancing. Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends. Hazel was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico Beach, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Thomas E Arnold; sister, Wanda Horne; brother, Tom Smith; sister in law, Belle Smith.

Hazel is survived by her three sons, Richard T. Whitten Jr. (Brenda), Kenneth Byron Whitten (Doris Jean), Daren K. Arnold (Rhonda); one brother, Phillip Smith; brother in law, Mickey Horne; sister in law, Shirley Smith; three grandchildren, Chaz, Laramie and Tyler Whitten; one great-grand son, Landon Whitten. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Roberts Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 10:00AM Central Time. A time of visitation will be from 9:30-10:00AM Central Time.
