Helen Wanda Falconer

Helen "Wanda" Falconer (Tipton), 86, who resided in Mexico Beach, Florida; former resident of Leesburg, Florida passed away on March 2, 2025, in Panama City, Florida.

Born on March 25, 1938, in Ducktown, Tennessee, Wanda brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life. She had a natural talent for design and spent 30 years as an interior designer with Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc., where she helped countless clients create beautiful spaces.

Wanda was a woman of many passions. She had an eye for style and loved to shop—always managing to find elegance even on a budget. She found joy in dancing and playing Bingo, embracing life with enthusiasm and laughter. A lover of card games, she enjoyed the friendly competition and camaraderie they brought. Her favorite Disney story was Cinderella, a fitting choice for someone who believed in magic and happy endings.

Above all else, Wanda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished her family deeply and was known as the best grandmother by those who were lucky enough to call her their own. Her smile could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by the love of her life, soulmate, and husband Ralph Thomas Falconer, her daughters Sandra M. Hunt, Linda Falconer Liebersbach, and M. Jeannie Falconer Clark; her sisters Yvonne Hanson, Barbara Brooks, and half siblings Lynn Morris and John C. Tipton; as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was predeceased by her parents Mae Marie Johnson and John S. Tipton; brothers James E. Tipton and Charles W. Tipton; and sisters Shirley A. Tipton, Darlene J. Russell (Tipton), and Betty L. Tipton.

Wanda’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

Memorialization will be by cremation followed by a private memorial.
