Henrietta L. Cassell of Eastpoint, Florida passed away peacefully in her home on October 14, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 12, 1936 to the late Chesley Estes and Henrietta Polous Estes in Apalachicola, Florida.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Chumney; father, Chelsey Estes; mother, Henrietta Polous Estes; two daughters, Ona Jean Russell and Karen Cassell; one son, Little George Cassell; two grand children, Archie Busby and Candace Whiddon and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Rena K Enfinger and Bonnie A. Whiddon; sons, Robert Lashley and Jimmy Lashley Sr; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Estes and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 2:00PM Eastern Time at Magnolia Cemetery in Apalachicola, Florida.
Her Final Resting Place will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Apalachicola, Florida.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
