Howard Millender

Charles Howard Millender, affectionately known as Howard, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in Panama City, Florida at the age of 47. He was born in Port St. Joe, Florida on September 10, 1974 to the late Charles Keith Millender and Deborah Lominec. Howard grew up in Franklin County, but had spent the last 20 years in Panama City. From an early age, Howard had a fondness of being on the water, which led to him becoming a captain and commercial fisherman. He oystered, fished, and shrimped, but his favorite was crabbing. Howard enjoyed people and had a desire to help others in need. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a great husband, father, and grandfather. Howard’s family held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Keith Millender and Deborah Lominec. Howard is survived by his precious wife of sixteen years, Cindy Burton Millender of Panama City, Florida; children, Kerrianna Brown (John) of Athens, Georgia, Larry Dean Wallace II (Cierra) of Calloway, Florida, Andrea J. Wallace of Athens, Georgia, Charles Casey Millender and Deborah Millender both of Panama City, Florida; grand children, Sebastian Wallace and Atticus Wallace; one sister, Heather Amanda Millender of Eastpoint, Florida. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Eastpoint Cemetery pavilion at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
