Ed Creamer passed away peacefully, January 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Born December 11, 1933, he called Port St. Joe home his entire life.

Ed attended Port St. Joe High School and played football for Coach Marion Craig. He also met the love of his life Dorothy “Dot” Sealey. After High School, Ed joined the United States Navy where he served six years. He was stationed in San Diego, CA , Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD and served aboard the USS Eldorado AGC 11 the 7th fleet Amphibious Command Ship.

Upon leaving the Navy, he returned to Port St Joe, and began his career managing Indian Pass Seafood Co. for Jimmy McNeil. After Indian Pass Seafood he worked at Glidden Chemical Co. which became SylvaChem, as a Laborer, Distillation Operator, Chief Operator, Boiler Operator and Shift Supervisor. After early retirement from SylvaChem, he finished his career with American General Insurance. He was most proud of Ed’s Red Sauces, a product and company he created and founded that sold hot sauce and cocktail sauce throughout the United States.

Ed was preceded in death by his father Dan Creamer, mother Mary Creamer, brother Robert Creamer and sister Alice Ellison. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Dot Creamer, his son Eddie and wife Julie of St Augustine, FL; grandson Daniel Creamer and wife Tonya of St. Augustine, FL; grandson John Creamer and wife Rachel of Alexandria, VA and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
