James Richard Todd Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed on to his heavenly home on Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home in Howard Creek, Florida, surrounded by family and friends. James was a kind, gentle, and loving man; a Marine from the “Agent Orange” Vietnam era. He was married forty years to his wife and best friend, Teresa Kincaid Todd. A dedicated FSU fan, legendary fisherman, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, James set an example for us all in the way he lived and cared for all. James is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Edward Todd and Winna Mae Todd. He is survived by his brother, William Todd; sister, Norma Todd; nephew Billy Ake; children, Deanna Carol Tod, Erica Todd Mann and her husband Steve Mann, and James Richard Todd Jr. and his wife Meghan LeCroy; grandchildren, Brandon Scott Todd, Emily Hope Mann, Jeremy Todd Mann, and Trevor David Rayborn. A memorial service will be held for family and friends of James at 11:00 AM Eastern Time on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Beacon Hill Park (8750 W Hwy 98, Port St. Joe, FL. 32456). The family has requested that any gifts or donations be directed to Covenant Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Project.
