James Wilburn Causey, better known as Jimmy age 71 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 20, 1950 in Apalachicola, Florida. James had a passion for the water. He spent his life fishing, oystering, shrimping commercially and for enjoyment. James also loved hunting. "The King of the River Rats is gone to fish in the Big River, and all the Redneck River Rats will miss him dearly". He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Deborah Causey; one son, Jacob Thomas Causey; one brother, Hartford Lamar Causey; two fur babies, Buford & Mojo. Memorialization will be by cremation. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
