"Remembering Frank"
Jay Franklin Williams, Sr. "Frank" passed on to his heavenly father on Friday, March 31, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Frank was born in Cottondale Florida on May 3, 1939 to the late Joe and Annie Williams. He was youngest of twelve siblings all of which preceded him in death. Frank graduated from Cottondale High School in Cottondale, Florida. He was a Pipe Fitter & Plumber by trade and was maintenance supervisor for St. Joe Paper Company for many years before joining his son Frankie in family plumbing business. Work was his hobby and fishing was his passion.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Deborah Greynolds; his loving children, Dianna Harrison (Varry Turner), Tessie Myrick (Jimmy) and Frankie Williams (Kim). He also leaves six grandchildren, Cheyenne O'Neal, Robert Myrick Russell Harrison, Zachary Williams, Danielle Myrick and Lacey Williams; also eleven great-grandchildren, Sigure, Sarah, Aiden, Kiley, Easton, Grady, Joey, Jordan, Mariah and Kiley. Also cherishing his memory are many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Long Avenue Baptist Church in Port St. Joe, Florida with Pastor Dave Fernandez officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
