Jennie Marie Hurley

Jennie Marie Hurley age 40 of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Pensacola after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Winter Garden, Florida on March 16, 1981 and was of the Pentecostal faith. Jennie was a homemaker, raising six children and adoring her husband. She spent countless hours and miles, supporting them in their hobbies. Jennie’s world revolved around her husband, children and grand kids. In her spare time, she loved going to the beach and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clessie Babb; maternal grandmother, Tera Grimes; paternal grandparents, Newton Cook and Myrtice Cook. Jennie is survived by her parents, Olen R. Cook and Janice Babb Cook; grandfather, George Grimes; her loving husband of twenty-five years, Johnny Edward Hurley; six children, Dorian Hurley and fiancé Jazzimen Temple, Marie Hurley, Johnny Hurley Jr., William Hurley, Gloria Hurley, and Oliver Hurley; two grandchildren, Thora Hurley and Loki Hurley; siblings, Robie Cook and wife Christine, Joey Cook and wife Laura, Stacy Cook, Tracy Cook, and Amber Baleanu. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at United Pentecostal Church of Port St. Joe on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Chris Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
