John Laurimore passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2023 with his family all around him at the Vitas
Hospice Health Care in Panama City, FL. The Vitas team was a blessing to us and provided loving care to John and our family. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a well-known local in our area and loved by many. After many years of traveling around our beautiful country, he retired from his career as a truck driver. His passions included fishing, boating, gardening, and being outdoors.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Laurimore and Edna (Linton); wife, Kathleen and his wife Helen’s son, Billy Roberts.
John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Helen; two sons, Randy (Diane & family) and Ricky Laurimorte; daughters, Cindy Garrett, Cynthia Laurimore (Frank), and Tina Hensley; Kathleen’s children, Irene Acree Lowe, Cindy Baker Cooper, Eddie Dean; granddaughter, Stephanee Baker Prowell; grandson, John Baker; Helen’s children, Marth Brock (Pat and family), Sandy Roberts (Vic Alfirie and family), Wanda Powell (family), Alice Bigler (Doug and family), Daniel Roberts, Albert Roberts, Jimmy Roberts; sister, Jeanne Donaldson (Michael and family) and nephew, Tracey Vause.
A viewing for John will be held at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Comforter Funeral
Home in Port St. Joe, FL. Graveside Services will immediately follow at 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time
at Holly Hill Cemetery, in Port St. Joe, FL with Brother Glenn Davis officiating.
