John Thomas "Tom" Ward Sr.

John Thomas Ward Sr. age 81, affectionately known as “Tom” of Beacon Hill, Florida passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was born in New Hope, Florida on October 28, 1940 to the late Russell Ward and Opal Hightower Ward. Tom spent most of his life in Panama City before moving to Gulf County in 2016. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a true outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking out, and playing golf. Tom will be remembered for his smile, laughter, and love for people. He adored his wife and family, and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and the mother of his children, Sue Pybus Ward. Whom he loved; two brothers, Ray Ward (Louise) and Bill Bell; one sister-n-law Tom is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Teresa Diane Ward; children, Vicki McCann (Michael), Michele Casey (Keith), and John Thomas Ward Jr.; step children, James Mathews (Tammie), Denise Mathews, and Sherri Johnson (Dean). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
