Joseph Anthony Figueira

Joseph A. Figueira, 66, of Kinard, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born in Taunton, MA in 1958 to Joseph R. Figueira and Mary C. Figueira and attended Taunton High School before relocating to Florida to hone his woodworking skills, ultimately becoming a talented hardwood floor designer and craftsman.

Joseph was known for being a kind-hearted, good-humored, generous man who loved his family and was a friend to everyone. He loved animals, enjoyed fishing, and reading the Bible.

He is survived by his mother Mary C. Figueira, and his sisters Rosemarie McCaffrey, Mary Zavash, Carol Moniz, Linda Mackler, and Anita Shannon as well as nephews and nieces. Joseph and his family are very grateful to his dear friends, and mentor Mr. Wilbur Butts, at the Covenant House, who helped lead him to Christ.

A graveside service will be held at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton, MA at 11am on Friday, August 9, 2024.
