Kenneth Charles Price Sr. was born on June 9, 1962, right up town in the little building by the red light. He was a lifelong Wewahitchka resident and sadly passed away at his home on December 10, 2023. He loved the outdoors, and hunting was high on his list of hobbies. He was pretty good on the dirt track in his younger days and could often be found at surrounding dirt tracks or our local go-cart track. When one of his grandkids had a game, you could always find him either in the stand or in the line, buying the others skittles and coke. He was a die-hard Gator fan, and no matter if it was win-or-lose, he wore that orange and blue. He was an extremely active and devoted member of Wewahitchka Search and Rescue and proudly served as vice president. Over the years, he devoted his time and energy to serving as a coach on multiple rec leagues in the community. When there was a need, he was always the first in line to help. His dedication and love for his family, community, and friends were unmeasurable. He is preceded in death by his Granny Price, his father Charles Price, his mothers Minnie Price and Quida Roussel, and two precious grandchildren, Kyleigh and Joseph Price. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Michell Price and children Tracy Price, Jessica Price, Kenneth Price Jr (Elizabeth), Renee Nunery (Triston), and LeeAnn Bernal (Phoenix). Thirteen grandchildren: Jocelyn, Jarrot, Marcus, Michael, Triston, TJ, Hunter, JP, Korvin, Kolton, Kyle, Waylon, and Dexter. He also leaves behind three brothers: Tony Price (Susan), Max Wood (Patty), and Gary Holmes (Angie), and one sister, Faye Hysmith (Billy). As well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends in love. His memory will live on in all the lives he has touched. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Central Time with funeral services beginning at 12:00 P.M. Central Time on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Westside Baptist Church in Wewahitchka, Florida with Pastor Derrick Gerber officiating. Interment will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery.
