Linda Faye Elkins age 77 of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at her home. She was born in Fleming, Kentucky on March 7, 1945 to the late Dewey Reed and Ethel Reed. Linda graduated with a Master’s Degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. She moved to Gulf County in the early 90’s and began teaching third grade at Highland View Elementary School. After the school closed, she started teaching fifth grade at Port St. Joe Elementary School. Linda was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Linda is survived by her husband Charles Edward Elkins of Port St. Joe, Florida and her niece, Sherry Lynn Goins and husband J.R. of Lexington, Kentucky. Memorialization will be by cremation. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
