Linda Faye Leslie

Mrs. Linda Faye Leslie age 64, affectionately known as Coot received the gift of life in Port St. Joe, FL on September 26th, 1958. To the late Emmanuel Hutchison Sr. and Bertha Lee Hutchison. Mrs. Leslie lived in Gulf County until 2016 before moving to Franklin County. Mrs. Leslie was a student of education in the Gulf County School System, graduating with the class of 1977. Mrs. Leslie was employed at Bay St. Joseph Nursing home, Woods Fishery, and was a private duty housekeeper and sitter. She enjoyed being with family, friends, cookouts, and reunions. Mrs. Linda played a vital role in her community where she was a part NPSJ Community Choir; she was a member of the Avenue D Bereavement Club; and enjoyed playing softball with the St. Joe Sluggers.

I’ve gone the last mile of the way. I will rest at the close of day. I’ve taken off corruptible and put on incorruptible. Mrs. Leslie transitioned from mortality and put on immortality on May 31,2023. (1 Cor. 15-54).

She was proceeded in death by her husband Leon Leslie Sr., Her Grandson Shelton Leslie Jr., Sister Dorothy Owens, Brothers Emmanuel Hutchison Jr., and Ulysses Hutchison.

Brother in laws Rawlis (Sharon) Leslie, Ronald (Geraldine) `Leslie, Micheal (Pamela) Leslie. Sister in laws Beverly (James )Daniels, Ann( Sindney) Givens ,Daisy (Andrew} Jones, Angela (William) Jones ,Charles (Patricia) Leslie. Daughter in love Penny Leslie, Uncle Stephen Gathers Sr. of Port St.Joe FL. Aunts Lucille Lyles and Earlene Morrison of Panama City FL .Special Special Special Cousin Johnnie Mae Robinson; special friends Eliane, Melissa, Tony, Marilyn, PeeWee, Vanessa, and Benjamin; God Children Tory (Pamela) Bradshaw, De’Shawn North, Asia Whitley. God Siblings Marvin, George, Trent, Mary, Vanessa, Sharon and a host of Nephew’s, Nieces and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Church of God in Christ in Port St. Joe, Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time at Body of Christ Jesus Church in Port St. Joe, Florida. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
