Lyndall Faye Jones

Beloved Lyndall Faye Jones, 82, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Monday, April 16,2023, at St. Augustine Plantation after an illness. Faye was born to Forrest T. Gordon and Sarah H. Gordon of Apalachicola, FL. Faye retired from the Georgia Department of Education where she was a paraprofessional. She had a passion and inspiring love for the children she taught and they loved her. After retirement Faye spent time with her beloved husband, George Jones. She and George enjoyed many adventures on their motorcycles. Faye had an artistic ability in creating ceramics, which she generously gave to friends and family. She also loved planting beautiful flowers in her yard. She would sit outside and enjoy the lovely flowers she grew. She had a special way of making everyone laugh and feel loved. She was "happy" wherever she went. Faye had no children but loved and cherished all the children in her family.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, George Jones, and her Sister, Elaine Santiago. She is survived by her Brother Thomas E. Gordon (Wife, Janis), Sister Susan Pressas (Husband, John), and Sister Deborah Burley (Husband, David).

She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. To know her was to love her.
