Mary "Pat" Patricia Lanier

Mary Patricia Lanier, age 71, affectionately known as “Pat” passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home in White City, Florida. She was born in Marianna, Florida on May 8, 1950 to the late Aubrey Hewett and Mary Alice Hart Hewett. Pat spent most of her life in Gulf County and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed flowers, giraffes and photography. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roy Lanier; two children, Clint Lanier (Lynn) and Karen Layfield (Buddy); two brothers, Danny Hewett and Gary Hewett; three sisters, Jackie Korb, Glenda Babauta (John), and Debra Watkins (Willie); grandchildren, Korie Othic, Caleb Othic, Madison Othic, Amber Lanier, Kasi Pitts (Andy), Kari Stephens, JR Lanier, Samantha Lanier, Haley Lanier, and Landon Lanier; great grandchildren, Amery, Hanna, Myleigh, Jodi, Caidyn, DJ, Charleigh, Paisleigh, and Kynsleigh. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Friday, March 25, 2022 under the pavilion at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida with Pastor Derrick Gerber and Pastor Dudley Palmer officiating.
