Michael William Parrish

Michael William Parrish age 69 of Apalachicola, Florida passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. He was born on October 26, 1954 in Port St. Joe, Florida to the late George Washington Parrish and Mary Agnes Tharpe Parrish. Michael worked as a contractor and became the first General Contractor in Franklin County. Michael enjoyed woodworking and was very talented at it. He also spent time shooting guns, listening to gospel music and spending time with loved ones. Some of his favorite moments were spent on the water fishing. Michael's four girls were his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his four girls, Jennifer Parr of Asheville, NC, Jeannette Bradley and husband Tim of Asheville, NC, Danielle Dickey of Gallatin, TN, and Samantha McClellan and husband Rich of Gallatin, TN; one brother, Daniel Parrish and wife Shirley Duke of Dothan, Alabama; two sisters, Marie Shurrum and husband Robert of Overstreet, Florida and Clara Griffin of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dalton, J.T., Terry, Leland, Noah, Richie, Titus and Amber, and four great grandchildren, Addison, Noel, Elijah and Kinley.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
