Mildred Louise Levins

Mildred Louise Levins longtime resident of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away at her home on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on June 10, 1943 in Polk County, Florida to the late J.B. Waters and Maggie Lewis Waters. Mildred spent most of her life working inside the home taking care of her three sons and husband. She was very talented at crocheting and raised beautiful Violets. Mildred enjoyed spending time on the river fishing and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy Waters and John Henry Waters; three sisters, Myra Sue Byrd, Myrtle Harris, and Doris Tullis.

Mildred is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Joe Levins of Port St. Joe, Florida; three sons, Larry Levins (Patricia) of Port St. Joe, Florida, Rodney Levins (Joanna) of Port St. Joe, Florida and Jay Levins (Amy) of Dalkeith, Florida; one brother, James Edward Waters of Port St. Joe, Florida; one sister, Joyce Ann Scully of Marianna, Florida; four grandchildren, Julie Parks (Drew), Tom Levins, Jasmine Levins, and Abigail Levins. Seven great grandchildren, Brett Hall, Gracie Parks, Bladen Levins, Hailyn Levins, Stratton Levins, Stetson Levins, and Colton Levins.

A visitation will be held at Comforter Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time.

Graveside services will be held at Holly Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time with Rev. Dave Fernandez officiating.
