Orton Charles Douglas Jr.

Orton Charles Douglas Jr. age 73, passed from this life on Friday, December 9, 2022 in Wewahitchka, Florida. He was born on October 17, 1949 in Orlando, Florida and moved to Gulf County in 1989. Orton worked for many years as a long distance truck driver and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed boat rides, hunting, and riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orton Charles Douglas Sr; mother, Mary Ellen Needham Reynolds and stepfather, Edward J. Reynolds.

Orton is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Linda Sue Crussel Douglas of Wewahitchka, Florida; three children, Christopher Douglas (Regina) of Scottsboro, Alabama, John Paul Douglas of Panama City, Florida and Kimberly Fox (Jimmy) of Wewahitchka, Florida; one brother, Hugh Wayne Wilson (Adlemi) of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Kay Hamlin (Bob) of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Sharon Reynolds-Bell of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren, Amber Douglas, Michael Fox, Jason Fox (Jade), and Steven Fox; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Reva, and Ada.
