Pamela Gamble Martin, better known as Pam, age 71 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born in Panama City, Florida on December 18, 1952 to the late John Gamble and Agnes Hicks Gamble. Pam spent many years in Virginia Beach, Virginia before moving to Gulf County in 1992. She worked for the Salvation Army as a Victims Advocate in the Domestic Violence Program for many years before retirement. Pam was a passionate about her work and the people she served. Pam enjoyed fishing and cross stitching. She cherished spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Harvey Martin of Wewahitchka, Florida; three children, Patricia (Jimmy) Mamoran of Wewahitchka, Florida, Stephanie Martin of Wewahitchka, Florida, and Jerry Martin of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Martika Albino, Wilfredo Albino, and Zackory Martin (Carla Peavy). She is also survived by one great-grandchild, Niko Carson Martin and a special friend, Debbie Brissett.
