Richard "Ricky" Wayne Summers

Richard Wayne Summers, better known as Ricky, age 64 of White City, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Panama City, Florida. He was born in Port St. Joe, Florida on September 16, 1957 to the late James Summers and Rethea Simpson Summers. Ricky spent his life in Gulf County where he was of the Baptist Faith. He loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Logan Maddox. Ricky is survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Kari Summers of White City, Florida; children, Joshua Summers (Stephanie) of Bristol, Florida, Jennifer Daughtry of White City, Florida, and Bethany Haisten (Quincy) of White City, Florida; brothers, Eddie Summers (Cindy) and Greg Summers (Pam) all of Port St. Joe, Florida; grandchildren, Weston Summers, Kaleigh Summers, Michael Daughtry, Marc Daughtry, Kaydan Haisten, and Karson Haisten. He is also survived by his step mother, Maxine Summers of Bristol, Florida and a host of other family members. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida with Pastor Chris Goodman officiating. Condolences may be submitted at www.comforterfuneralhome.com.
