Robert Jesse Bostdorf age 79 of St. Joe Beach, Florida transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on Monday, May 23, 2022. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on March 23, 1943 to the late Glen G. Bostdorf and Beatrice E. Siple Bostdorf. Robert spent most of his life in Pennsylvania where he was a painting contractor and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed walking, bicycling, car shows, and motorcycles. Robert loved listening to music and dancing. He was a loyal Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Robert was a faithful member of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania Assembly of God and after moving to St. Joe Beach, Florida in 2017 he became a member of New Beginning Assembly of God in Highland View. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glen Bostdorf. Robert is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Cynthia Costa Bostdorf of St. Joe Beach, Florida; three daughters, Bobbi S. McShane and husband Stephen of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, Angela M. Hare and husband Thomas of St. Joe Beach, Florida, Marci L. White and husband Adam of White City, Florida; one brother, Lawrence Bostdorf and wife Sharon of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania; one sister, Nancy McNeely of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; one brother-in-law, Paul Edward Costa Jr. and wife Lynn of Summerfield, Florida; four grandchildren, Britt White, Paisley White, Everett White, and Harper McShane. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. EST at New Beginning Assembly of God in Highland View with Pastor Adam White and Pastor Andrew Rutherford officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
