Scott Allen Staggers

Scott Allen Staggers age 55 of Apalachicola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born in West Virginia on September 17, 1968 and moved to Franklin County, Florida in 1998 where he began working as a cook. Scott worked at Blue Parrot, The Grill, and most recently, The Owl in Apalachicola. He enjoyed life to the fullest; working hard, but playing harder. Scott spent countless hours on the river collecting driftwood. He also had a knack for restoring bicycles.

Scott was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Darlene Sanders; mother, Barbara and stepfather, Earl; two daughters, Ciera and Lauren and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at United Baptist Church in Eastpoint, Florida on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time with Pastor Scott Shiver officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
