Shirley Ann Lee Williams

January 15, 1941 — April 1, 2023

Shirley Ann Lee Williams age 82 of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. She was born in Caryville, Florida on January 15, 1941 and spent most of her life in Port St. Joe where she worked with the Gulf County School Board for forty plus years as a school bus driver and in SJE and SJH in the lunchroom. Shirley was a faithful member of New Beginning Assembly of God for over fifty years.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Williams; her parents, Marvin Henry Lee and Omie Sellers Lee; two sisters, Vera Mae Hudson and Bernice Whitfield; two brothers, James Blackmon and Clarence Blackmon, and one great grandson, David Mathews III.


Shirley is survived by four children, Randy Williams of White City, Liz Nixon (Michael) of White City, Nanner Dykes (Kenneth) of Port St. Joe and Larry Williams (Britt) of Panama City Beach; grandchildren, Lee, Christa, Kari, Allen, Aaron, and Karley; great grandchildren, Trey, Noah, Jenna, Ryne, Devin, Kensley, Raegan, Willa, Carson, Adilyn, and Kathryn.


Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 under the pavilion at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida with Pastor Adam White officiating. A time of visitation will begin at 10:30 A.M. Eastern Time.


Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
