Stephen "Boog" Adams

Being in one of his favorite spots, doing what he loved, Stephen Adams, more affectionately known as “Boog” age 69 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 while hunting. Born on December 21, 1953, Boog was a lifelong resident of Gulf County where he was well known and loved. He was a big man with a gentle soul and even bigger heart. Boog worked at Kraton Polymer in both Port St. Joe and Panama City, for fifty years before retiring in March. During his span of working at the chemical plant, Boog made many friends that were more like family. In his off time, he enjoyed hitting the open road on his Harley Davidson. Boog always looked forward to grilling out and watching football. He was very close to his late mother, Catherine Adams, during her last few years, Boog spent countless hours with her watching Gunsmoke.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
