Stephen "Steve" Kenneth Norris

Stephen Kenneth Norris, better known as Steve to his family and friends, went to his eternal home on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 62. He was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina on September 5, 1960 and moved to Wewahitchka, Florida in 1976. Steve graduated from Wewahitchka High School in 1978 and moved to Port St. Joe in 1990. He worked at St. Joe Paper Company from 1979 until it closed in 1998. Steve then transitioned to Electrical and Contracting work until taking

over G.W. Services Heating and Air in 2013. He was an active member in the First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe. Steve enjoyed offshore fishing, river fishing, bird hunting, and playing the piano.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubbard W. Norris.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Rebecca (Becky) Norris of Port St. Joe, Florida; his mother, Doris Norris of Panama City, Florida; two children, Zachary Norris and wife Rachel of Orlando, Florida and Ashton Reams and husband Adam of Naples, Florida; two brothers, David Norris and wife Vickie of Anderson, South Carolina and William Norris and wife Michelle of Wewahitchka, Florida; grandchildren, Ezra, Layla, Henleigh, Nash, Paxton, and Jase. He is also survived by a dear

friend, he called “the sister he never had”, Lynne Jones and husband Chris of Colorado Springs,Colorado. Lastly, his beloved bird dogs, “The Boys”, Bubba and Jep.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Long Ave Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 20, 2022

2:00 P.M. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. EST until 2:00 P.M. EST at the church.
