Steven Howard Anderson, age 64 of St. Joe Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Waco, Texas on July 29, 1957 and was a veteran of the United States Airforce. Steven spent many years as a mechanic and loved his job with AAFES at George Airforce Base in California. He moved to St. Joe Beach in 2012 and became a prep cook at Sharon’s Cafe until Hurricane Michael. Steven had a passion for cooking and spent hours preparing meals for family and friends. He had a love for cars, scooters, good music, and a great time. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Hamilton Anderson and his grandparents. Steven is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years, Laura Lorraine Anderson; mother, Sally Anderson, both of St. Joe Beach, Florida; one son, Lawrence Anderson (Darlene) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three brothers, Robert Anderson of St. Joe Beach, Florida, Dale Anderson (Linda) of Norman, Oklahoma, and Jason Anderson of Portland, Oregon; three grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, and Joshua; one great-grandson, Hunter. Steven will be missed by many. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time until 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time at Beach Baptist Church in St. Joe Beach, Florida. Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
