Susan Elaine Nabors Jones

Susan Elaine Nabors Jones, native of Apalachicola, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the age of 50. She was born on December 29, 1972 in Fort Meyers, Florida. Susan worked many years as a CNA and a cook in Franklin County. She attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola. Susan enjoyed flower gardening, taking care of her pets, and was an excellent cook.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Shorty Hardy and her grandparents.

Susan is survived by her mother, Linda Hardy of Apalachicola, Florida; father, Jimmy Nabors of Foley, Alabama; stepson, Dustin Jones of Polk County, Florida; two sisters, Tammy Taunton (Charles) and Penny Hardy (Lamar) all of Apalachicola, Florida; one brother, Frankie Shirah of Foley, Alabama; two stepsisters, Michelle King of Marianna, Florida and Nanette Mayo (Wayne) of Clarksville, Florida; five nieces and nephews, Angela, Randi Mae, Candace, Timothy, and Tony; four grandchildren and two fur babies, Blue and Tootie.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Susan will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the start of the service.
