Susan "Susie" Carol Rushing

Susan “Susie” Carol Rushing Susan Rushing or “Susie” age 46 of Port Saint Joe, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 26th 2024 with her family by her side. Susan was born in Anchorage Alaska on October 17, 1977 and moved to Port Saint Joe in the early 90s where she created a beautiful family and home of her own. Susie’s favorite things were Arts and crafts, drinking coffee, and quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Susie was the strongest woman that anyone knew. Susie will forever be remembered as an amazing Wife, Mother, GiGi, Aunt, sister, and Friend that has never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone no matter what. Susie was funny and always had a joke to tell, always knew how to put a smile on your face. Susie was known for her amazing cooking, and the fact that she’d cook enough to feed half the town. Susie was the most selfless person anyone knew.

She was proceeded in death by her Father Ricky Glenn Rushing, Aunt Ernie & Uncle Jack.

Susie is survived by her Husband Warren Whitfield, her Four Children Austin, Brandi, Lillie, and the youngest Leighton. Two Grandchildren Waylon and Brantlee. Her best Friend Ashley, Her mother Debra, and three siblings Paul, Stephanie, Nick. Also survived by many loved Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Central Time on Wednesday, January 31,2024 Glad Tidings Church 138 E Orange Avenue Wewahitchka, Foridal 32465
