In Loving Memory of Terry Lee Franklin
Terry Lee Franklin, 60, of Port St. Joe, Florida, was called to his eternal resting place on May 3, 2024. Born in Pansy, Alabama, on the first day of January in 1964, he was a beacon of kindness and devotion to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A man of great faith, Terry cherished his moments with his brethren at Hope Family Worship Center. His unwavering commitment to the church remained until his health no longer allowed for his presence amongst his cherished church family.
His memory is honored by his dear daughter, Lacey Huckelba (Jovi); his treasured grandchildren: Brody Little, Brantlee Huckelba, and Bristol Huckelba; his wife, Karen Franklin; his esteemed bonus son, Robert Heathcock; his sisters: Deb Watford (Sidney), Brenda Pellerin (John), and Patricia Smith (William Davis); along with a host of appreciative nieces (Jessica Pellerin, Abby Swearengin, Kelli Jones, Cheyenne Crum, Lexi Moore), nephews (Michael Woodard, Scott Palmer, Kerry Palmer, Michael Pellerin, Tyler Crum, Trey Humphrey), extended family, and a circle of friends whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death and rejoicingly received by his father, Arthur Franklin; mother, Vera Mae Lewis Franklin; sisters: Annette Nail and Judy Davis; niece: Anna White; and nephew, Daniel Pellerin.
For over 25 years, Terry dedicated his talents as a Maintenance Mechanic for the State of Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, specifically at the William J. Rish Recreational Park on Cape San Blas, where he found his vocation in service to others.
Terry found solace and joy in crafting model cars, engaging in the challenge of crossword puzzles, raising his voice with the men's choir, and being a loyal spectator to the exhilarating races of NASCAR and the dramatic spectacles of professional wrestling. Above all, Terry's most cherished pastime was enveloped in the laughter and love of his family and friends.
