Virginia Lee Allington

Virginia Lee Allington age 72 of Eastpoint, Florida passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Lacoochee, Florida on April 20, 1950 and had been a resident in Franklin County since 1979 coming from Nobleton, Florida. Virginia enjoyed going to yard sales, playing the lottery, eating candy, and all sorts of card games. She loved her family deeply and looked forward to every minute spent with them. Virginia was her grandchildren’s biggest and “secret keeper”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Allington and Sally May Carter; husband, R.J. Nowling; and one sister, Delois Ann Eubanks.

Virginia is survived by her three children, Sheila Nowling (Terry), Tammy Lynn Warren, and Larry Steven Warren all of Eastpoint, Florida; honorary daughter, Sherry Bennett Young of Eastpoint, Florida; one sister, Audrey Jeanette Paulk of Eastpoint, Florida; three grandchildren, Kayla Roberts (Daniel), Jessica May Tatum, and Summer Warren; six great grandchildren, Daniel Roberts (McKenzie), Anthony Lee Roberts, Kaden Lee Downing, her baby boy Riley James Downing, and her baby girl Alexiana Griggs, and Bryson Avery Lane. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Eastpoint with Pastor Dan Fender officiating. Interment will follow at Eastpoint Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
