Wanda Brown Davis age 81 of White City, Florida passed from this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Panama City, Florida. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on July 3, 1942 and moved to Gulf County in 1972. Wanda owned St. Joe Accounting for many years and was a member White City Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and painting. In 1980, she became one of the first females to graduate the Florida Highway Patrol Academy and become a State Trooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Holland; two husbands, Dickie Brown and Gary Davis.
Wanda is survived by three children, Elizabeth Terry of Chunchula, Alabama, Samuel Brown (Myong) of Panama City, Florida, and David Brown (Diana) of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Ike Hall (Shawncie), Nina Clark, and Christopher Brown; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Claryssa, and Jonathan.
Memorialization will be by cremation. No services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
