William "Bill" Franklin Morrissey Ii

William Franklin Morrissey II (Bill) passed away at home on February 25, 2024 at the age of 82 years old in Port St. Joe, Florida. Bill was the son William Franklin Morrissey Jr and Frances J. Oneil Morrissey.

Bill grew up in Glastonbury, CT. After graduating from high school, Bill enlisted in the military and served from ‘1959 to ‘1965.

Bill worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for 37 years designing and providing support equipment tools for the military and commercial Jet engines. He met his wife Jane in 1990 and they married in 1992 in Stuart, Florida. Bill and Jane retired in 2006 and moved to Port St. Joe, Florida.

In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a member of St Joseph Bay Country Club. After a round of Golf he would sit on their porch drinking his beer and joking with his buddies.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jane; his son, Bill Morrissey and his wife Daniele; daughter, Tracey Morrissey and husband Rick Hutson; one granddaughter, Savannah Hutson and his step son Gary Connell. Bill also had five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time.
